Hello, My name is Chessie Rebecca Snider, LMHCA, NCC, MAEd-MHP (they/them). I received a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seattle University. I was trained through practicums and internships both in group settings and at community clinics in the greater Seattle area. I continue to learn and expand my understanding and practice by attending frequent anti-racism workshops, IFS seminars, and continuing education classes. I have three years’ training in DBT, CBT, and Trauma-Focused CBT.

Hello, I'm Véro Lecocq (she/her). I'm excited to offer this group because improv is such a powerful therapeutic tool -- I love exploring it with others! Informed by creativity, embodiment, storytelling, and play, this group is designed to be both fun and formative. Overall, my work as a clinician is grounded in my training as a drama therapist -- as well as in a few of my other favorite theories, like Individual Psychology, ACT, and Existentialism. Improv for Therapists is co-facilitated by a drama therapist (Vero) and a synergetic play therapist (myself).

The group will take place on the first four Tuesdays of February, August and November from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Seattle Center Armory. This group is designed for all kinds of therapy related professionals, mental health therapists, peer counselors, agency affiliated counselors, PhD candidates, Post-Doc, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and group facilitators.

People who come to this group are looking to connect with colleagues, want a bit of fun in their week, some ideas for group activities, and they find in person connection fulfilling.
