About Chessie Rebecca Snider
Chessie (they/them) came to improv as a jittery 20-something wanting fun. They found that it helped with their social anxiety & it created an embodied space to re-process past difficulties in a communal setting
They wanted to offer this group because many community members mentioned having social anxiety after the pandemic. They’ve also seen the therapeutic effects of being in community & building collective experiences while processing individually.
Véro Lecocq (she/her)
“I'm excited to offer this group because improv is such a powerful therapeutic tool. I love exploring it with others!”
Informed by creativity, embodiment, storytelling, and play, this group is designed to be both fun and formative. Overall, her work as a clinician is grounded in her training as a drama therapist!
A few of my other favorite theories, like Individual Psychology, ACT, and Existentialism also play key roles in how this group is designed. Please visit Vero’s website to learn more about her:
